DoodleNest is a product of Wenthura, a Colombo software company building intelligent, scalable technology for educators since 2019.
Our story
We started by building for other people.
Wenthura began in 2019 as a bespoke software company in Colombo. Building custom systems for other organisations taught us the same lesson over and over: the hardest problems are never the technical ones. They are the handovers, the missing consent, the message nobody saw.
So we became a product company. Today a permanent team of 35+ engineers builds and maintains DoodleNest, backed by strong engineering, automation and trusted global partnerships.

Why DoodleNest exists
Early learning deserved better than a generic ERP.
School software is mostly built for secondary schools and then shrunk down. It talks about periods and exam boards, not nap times, allergies and who is allowed at the gate. Preschools were left running the most safety-critical part of education on paper registers and group chats.
Every screen in DoodleNest was designed for early learning and Montessori first, for schools running one branch or fifty.

Four things we will not trade away.
Safety is not a feature
Consent, encryption, masking and audit logs are in every package, never an upgrade. A child-safety product that charges extra for safety is not one.
Calm beats clever
A teacher marking a register at 8:55am does not want a dashboard. Every screen is designed to be obvious, so no training is needed.
One place, not six
Every extra tool is another handover where something gets lost. We would rather build one platform properly than five that nearly talk to each other.
Built where we sell
We are in Colombo, working with schools in Sri Lanka and the UAE. We know the term structure, the compliance regime and the school run.
